2005 Pinot Noir

Tasting Date: 28 October 2011

Aromatically there has been evolution towards more earthy and savoury notes.  There are even hints of forest floor lurking in the background!  On the palate there is a great core which is rich and chewy.  The shear fruit density and grainy tannins would suggest a good future.  This wine’s personality and complexity will reward those connoisseurs amongst us.

Tasting Date: 30 April 2007

Stylish and very intense, with outstanding concentration to an impressive array of pomegranate, spice, soya and stone flavors. Cedary oak and firm, fine-grained tannins underscore the finish. Drink now through 2011. Daniel Sogg April 30, 2007 Wine Spectator , USA, 91 points
