Outstandingly youthful, with fascinating complexity. Bright mineral notes of polished stone and citrus, balanced by heavier base notes of quince, hazelnut and caramel. Drinking very well now, but still has considerable ageing potential.

This wine fascinates with complexity and juxtaposition. High tones of citrus and spring flowers underpinned by white fruits and polished stone harmonise with heavier base notes led by quince, hazelnut and caramel. The palate is concentrated with a taut, mineral framework. Drinking very well now, but still with considerable ageing potential.

Grilled bread, citrus and a hint of white peach are apparent on the nose. Rich and viscous yet at the same time refreshingly crisp, the palate is one of the most harmoniously balanced we have seen in our chardonnay: cream textured citrus in a frame of hazelnut and minerals. Finishes with good persistence, clean and very pure.
