1997 Dry Riesling

Tasting Date: 22 April 2006

Pale straw colour Elderflower, beeswax, honey predominate on the nose. The first thing that strikes one is the softness to the palate, which is mouthfilling and with almost a hint of sweetness, a silky mouthfeeel with still a hint of spritz, fresh fruit flavours still in abundance: lime, and white peach. Drink. While this will achieve a fuller maturity, the balance is now probably at optimum.
