Cherry and slight mushroom notes initially. A real purity to the nose. This is echoed on the palate with a purity and transparency to the sweet fruit which nevertheless succeeds in being multi-layered and richly textured. This is an elegant wine with restraint, but lots held in reserve. A favourite vintage of ours.
